Confirm before you ship
A short WhatsApp or call confirmation filters fake and duplicate orders. Ask the buyer to reconfirm address, landmark, and preferred time window.
Do not dispatch high-ticket COD parcels on the first unanswered attempt. Two failed confirms is usually enough signal to pause.
Make the listing match the parcel
Refusals spike when photos exaggerate colour, size, or accessories. Publish accurate dimensions, what’s in the box, and delivery timelines on the product page.
Show total payable at checkout — product + shipping — so the doorstep amount is never a surprise.
Use city and SKU heatmaps
Review refused parcels weekly. Pause ads or COD for cities with chronic RTO, or require prepaid / partial advance for risky SKUs.
Platforms that bake confirmation and tracking into the order flow (like Dukanic) make this review loop faster than spreadsheet-only ops.
